Can't get these out of my head.
PUGH

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Obsessing over another draped, black jacket. Nothing new. Also loving this video showing Pugh's process while creating a one-off dress for Nick Knight's SHOWStudio Shop. I love how much of a motherfucker almost all his stuff would be in the production stages. Probably why so few of his designs go to retail.
DEEP SEA
by lindsey adelman studio
So you may have seen my post about Lindsey Adelman's 'Knotty Bubbles' here. Recently, I came across the above images on their blog which they used before their official site was up and running. There isn't a whole lot on there but the posts give an interesting insight into their process. I love the organic forms in the images above and want some to wear! Although their blog is no longer active, you can find it here.
RICK OWENS APT
by xavier bejot for taschen's 'new paris interiors' via seaofshoes.typepad.com
All kinds of obsessed with these images of Rick Owens and wife Michèle Lamy's Paris home that have been floating around the blogosphere for quite some time. The mix of stone and fur is best described by Wallpaper* Magazine as 'monolithic'. Recently, I've been interested in the idea of occupying space. It is really something to look at these photos and imagine Rick Owens and his wife living and creating in these spaces, let alone going about simple tasks like making a cup of tea in that extraordinary kitchen space.
I've also watched this interview between Rick, Michèle and Maria Luisa for thecorner.com several times. I'm fascinated the professional and romantic relationship Owens and Lamy share. I remember reading somewhere that he was introduced to her by his boyfriend at the time and then worked for her for a couple of years. Someone should write a biography about Michèle. I love how modern their partnership is.
I realise this is slowly evolving into a Rick Owens appreciation blog. I'm completely unapologetic.
UNCONDITIONAL

Came across London fashion label UNCONDITIONAL whilst browsing oaknyc.com. I love the slight Rick Owens sensibility to some of their pieces (Of course I do!). Their menswear is exceptional. However, it is this laddered scarf that I was immediately smitten with when I saw their collection online. Apparently each scarf is hand-laddered, making each piece unique, and takes around 8 hours to make.

KERSHAW
by portmans
I love seeing Abbey Lee Kershaw whenever I have time to peruse Portmans. She always does such a beautiful job of fronting their campaigns, with this season being no exception. However, the image above is the one I was really taken with. I believe it was from their F/W season in Australia earlier this year but I could be mistaken. I remember walking past their store to see this visual in particular in the window and falling in love. There's something about her as a platinum blonde that elevates her to beyond-human-status. And what to say about those incredible cheekbones.
PINTUCK

I would rather enjoy having a pair of these to throw on for lazy days at university. Such an amazing silhouette.
Can we talk about Alexander Wang's colour palette for a moment here, please? How does this man manage to make black and grey look phenomenal in everything? Genius. I love the aubergine he's used in his F/W collection for 2011 as well.
And how beautiful is this model?
